Ok...if you go to Momo (http://www.momo.it) you find no steering wheels built for cars with air bags. I've read from dealer sights that momo does not make steering wheels for cars with air bags. Yet the Subaru Impreza WRX has a momo wheel and it has air bags...what gives? Why can't we get a momo wheel like the WRX and have air bags? http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/bs.gif

Momo is a supplier to a few car manufacturers that includes Subaru so they throw in the whole package... I believe Nardi supplies steering wheels to a few including Mazda and FORD.

I think Chung Wah is talking about those JDM Type R steering wheel with airbag ..... but unfortunately that's for cars like Type R and WRX. Personally I don't like the airbag. Yes it helps saving lifes, but on the other hand many got killed because they sit too close to the steering wheel when there is an accident. Just my 2 cents

That's one of the first upgrades I did on my G2 (with 1st gen airbag) and previous cars also, Andrew. Somehow I had to get comfortable and the Momo steering wheel (currently have Momo Race) really offers both performance and comfort. The safety factor, well we just have trust ourselves...

Yeah but I don't sit too close to my steering wheel so it's okay. I'd love to have a momo wheel, but I'd also like to keep my airbag...
Damn momo for not making it for the regular market. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
