the hood scoop .. it's not functional, right?
so how do get the air to flow out of the scoop ? does it go under into the hood? or is there just no hole at all?

The scoop is functional...its a mazda japan factory item on the factory location. The factory hole is cut, however, as it was design for the Turbo Diesle (drool) version of my car, an intercooler is meant to sit there. A-SPEC and myself will build a functional ram air that sits there...
BTW, thanks for the compliment kurt!

Wow, that surely looks wild.
Have you got rims for the summer time?
Love the license plate as well, I think Bieu was trying to get that for his Mazdaspeed, but they wouldn't let him here because of the word "spd" = speed, yeah I know its gay.
Sweet ride nevertheless... keep up the good work...

er .. but .. if u're hood has no hole for the hood scoop .. u'd be literally just scooping air .. creating huge air drag .. no ?
i apologize for all these off-topic posts .. let's get back to admiring the car http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
any helpful insight could be PMed to me rather than taking away from the spirit of this topic : )

To further simplify any more skepticism, I assure you that his hood scoop is fully functional. I have seen the hole myself. Thanks.
