"...It's tough being a soldier, but then tough becomes a habit. It's hard being tough most of the time, but it's even more tough when you come out of that battlefield and feel weak and vunerable to the simple things in civilian life." (M.Bryant, Fragmented Pottery)

I have a good lady friend leaving the country for sometime and the terms are not ideal. We were tight like George & Louise Jefferson.

Nothing was done maliciously but there was some confusion, self-consciousness, pride, and reserve on my part which was taken as cowardice. What's done is done, and I screwed up in this type of situation before.

I feel like a quarterback who has been to the National Title or League Championship game on two other occasions only to lose on the last drive, last quarter and perhaps last play of the game. There is a monkey on this monkey's back.

I don't want to get into detail too much and talk on the real with too many strangers, but I would like to solicit some company from a few TPC bretheren that know me somewhat.

I have always found comfort in EATING. On the most basic level, food and wine can comfort a man in hurt. I need to solicit participation of a brotherhood of guys who have big bellys and stomachs to eat with. A buffet or huge ass special entree with not too much talking is preferred.
I'm also seeking comrades of the MALE gender. No overly giddie barbies wanted to just mess up my concentration.

Who is down with brotherman or do I go this trek alone?
I want a Friday evening or Saturday Night?
If I could get drunk that would be good too.
It's not too often that a brotherman reaches out for help, but the time has come to fellowship amongst crew about matters of the heart and just be a civilian.

Kennedy and Steeles(Brampton?,Scarborough/Markham?)
Thanks for the tip, even though you are a girl.(just joking Candice.) How's the pricing?
Remember I'm Ghetto Concept Minded!
Bang for the Buck.

I recieved some PM's from some individuals too, of which I thought of immediately for company. I'll be contacting them soon too as I have their numbers. This won't be a one time occasion too for those that have scheduling problems. I'll be needing that true male bonding support over a period of time to rid my spirit of the 'she-devils'.

Treasures is not a good idea for me too, as I may go up on stage and smack those little tricks with the Pimp Daddy Beatdown Style for all the times they messed a brotherman up! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

Wounds will heal with time. Mike, if you want to get rid of the spirit, there are a few things you could do. Some are good, some are bad.

Good:
1. Go to the gym, it's a great feeling to have a solid body.
2. Hang out with the buds, they will always help you clear the evil spirit.
3. Music, listen to songs according to your emotion and preference.

Bad:
1. Eat your way out. Not a good idea, but if you like food, then go for it.
2. Drink your way out! It's refreshing, as long as you don't make this a habit. It also depends if you're a happy or grumpy drunk. If you are a happy, then cheers! I would step back on this if you are the grumpy kind. (If you are dead drunk, I don't know who's able to carry 220lbs! )

Yeah, we should get the demon drunk. I can carry 220 pounds, but probably not dead weight.

I'm ashamed to say I went up to 230lbs last week. I plan to hit the gym and play some sports with slight agression. I've only been tipsy but not full blown drunk. I'm afraid I'll be like Mike Tyson,(David Banner) and one of those Damn Kennedy's around skanky or teasing women.

The 7th Disciple MOnk in me couldn't have that....or maybe he could. Once again, thanks to the GUYS that responded. There will be plenty of times for eating meets and spring/summer bar-b-ques of which I do a mean chicken recipie that have collected Ghetto Trophies.

I could do a Saturday night, but Friday's not good. Sorry to hear about the troubles, but you're in good hands with us and God. I've had my head down low working at the deaconing thing, but I have a bit of free time again.
