I was planning on re-painting my calipers (as many of you know they are PINK- faded from red) and also the valve cover and exhaust manifold cover. I heard that some members used Tremclad rust paint..... Does the stuff fade or discolour in any way? Does it work in a high heat application?

I used Canadian Tire High heat engine paint and the stuff fades and the colour lacks richness. Looking for something else to use under the hood.

Shed some light on me.

I've used it on brakes for years. Never had a problem and the colour stays bright. i have used it on 3 cars, colours red, blue and yellow. It never faded on the yellow and the blue stood up til the car was totalled, and so far the red looks great.

Can I expect the colour to come out looking like it's on the cap of the spray can?

In general I have found that the colour comes a little bit shinier and a little bit brighter.

Hand paint 'em? Who is he? Is this a shop?

I've been too lazy to do it myself, so this would be a perfect way to do it. Any pics of his work?

Thx
