4th Annual Christmas / Holiday Dinner

The Holiday season is quickly approaching. This year we will be continuing our tradition by holding the 4th Annual Toronto Protege Club Christmas / Holiday Dinner & Secret Santa Gift Exchange.

Buffet Price: $20 (tax &amp; automatic gratuity already included) + DRINKS ARE EXTRA

We would encourage both new and old members to come out to this event and share the holiday season with your club. Turn out in previous years has been between 30 to 40 people and it has always been a great time. As usual, there will be some great prizes that are being donated by our Club Sponsors.

You are welcome to bring your significant other, but we ask that you please post if you are coming alone or with a date, so that we can keep the restuarant informed of accurate numbers.

* You are welcome to come to the Dinner without participating in the Secret Santa Gift exchange.
** Secret Santa will be for Club Members only (no significant others)
*** Gifts should be approx. $20 in value so everyone is consistent

Here's How Secret Santa Will Work
1 - If you want to participate, post your name below and if you wish to give a gift suggestion, feel free to put it beside your name.
2 - On Thursday November 24th, Junior will randomly match up the names. (MAKE SURE TO SIGN UP BEFORE THE 24th)
3 - Junior will PM everyone with who they are to buy a gift for on Friday November 25. It is YOUR responsability to decide on a gift for that person (ie, look at his wishlist or better yet, be creative,.....there have been some VERY fun and Creative gifts in the past).
4 - Wrap up the gift and DO NOT mark on it who it is from. ONLY who it is for. It will be placed on a table at the dinner to be handed out by 'Santa' after the dinner.

Remember that we don't want anyone to break the bank and spend more than anyone else. Try to keep your gift around the $20 mark.

Only reason we went with a Thursday is because of the time of year. People's weekends book up quickly with parties in December. I know it may seem like a lot of people can't make Thursday (because 3 have posted), but I would be willing to bet that regardless of the day,...Thursday, Friday, Saturday, etc.) we would still be getting the same amount of people posting saying they wish it was on another day.

Hopefully some of you might be able to work around it (ie: skip classes, call in sick Friday, or something like that). If not,....that sucks, because we'd love for everyone to be able to make it. Just to add to Darren's post... the club has had the best turn outs this year on Thursday nights, and some of the worst turn outs on Saturdays, this factored in to our decision!

just show up, you'll pay once dinner is done, like any type of dinner event.

Answers to your questions:

1) No pre-payment necessary. The cost is just for the bill on your food. That will all be settled at the restaurant. None of the money is going to the club. It's all paid to the resaurant. The price quoted is the buffet price. Drinks are at an additional charge
2) Wait until you get a PM from Junio with a person's name. At that point, you can buy a gift for them. Wrap it up and put the recipient's name on the gift and that's all. Do NO put your name on it.
3) I think Junior likes soaps and bath beads and stuff like that. He also likes big fluffy stuffed animals.
