Just wanted to post a thread that will list any open Officer Positions on the board.

For anyone that wants to take a more active role on the board, if you are interested in anything below, please send a PM to either Tiwing or myself. Please include a little blurb about why you think you would be a good candidate for the roll.

We will keep this thread updated with any new positions as they open. Thanks in advance to anyone that expresses an interest in any positions.

Currently Available Positions:
1) Toronto Protege Club Events Co-ordinator
Responsibilities - to organize monthly "Official Club Events"
** The person selected for this role will have the support of all of the other officers when organizing events, but will be the key person in charge
*** If there is a team of 2 that would like to take this role on, we are also open to that idea

WOW. I can't believe no one is interested in heading up Events for the club? I mean, it's what makes our 'club'... the events.

We need to have someone interested in making a great events for all of our members to enjoy (anything from a simple drive-in night, mini-golf meet, or an official dinner night)

The person that takes on this position will have the help of all the officers.

Is no one interested in making the next year one of the best year's!!

Let's see some nominations here.

Pretty much anyone is able to be considered.

We would storngly prefer to have someone that's local (only because it will be tough to organize events when you're out of town). However,....if you are seriously commited and willing to make the trek out to TO to organize and attend the monthly meets, then we would definitely take that into consideration. But it will require some commitment to do so, and only you can tell us if you will be able to do that.

As for age,......doesn't really affect anything.

If both of you are seriously interested, please PM Tiwing or myself witha really quick proposal of what your thoughts are, qualifications, ideas for meets, how you would handle the position, etc. Doesn't have to be a novel, just a quick little blurb.

We will likely open this up for nominations as well (this was discussed at the meet last night), since some people might be shy to throw their own name into the hat, but if others refer them, then they step up to the plate.

Stay tuned for more details, and thanks to kz9 and kocakola for the interest so far.

In response to this...

All of the active officers are already working hard in their respective positions. This is an open position for some one to step into as a new officer, but we do not want to double up resonsibilities on anyone. As previously mentioned, all of the officers pitch in to help wherever possible when co-ordinating events, but there is always a need for someone to lead things up,...enter the Events Co-ordinator position.

My bad, I forgot Junior was already an officer.
