I'm currently looking at replacing the Pedal Pads in my P5 and I'm having some trouble finding something that fits. The Momo Superturismo series looks great, but they don't seem to fit even with drilling.
The other series I am looking at are the Razo Carbon Fiber series pedals but no one stocks them in Toronto. Can anybody recommed anything? Cheers...

u can get covers for the pedals.... but watch out that there not too big and u accidently press the gas when u go to hit the break...
also the screws can get stuck into the carpet on the cluch when its fully pressed in

Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any that you would recommend as covers? I want something like carbon fiber but nothing to flashy. I see all these pads that look like extremely cheap, which they are, and they just don't interest me. I'll have to look further into the Razo models I like. Cheers!

I have the 5-Zigen pedals (RACTIVE makes copy-cat ones in a lesser quality). I paid $55 for mine and they fit fine and makes for better heel-toe shifting. The 5-Zigens come in several different colours but there is a greyish kinda colour that perfectly matches the interior panels of a Pro5. They install via the screw-wedge type of design and I have never had any problems.

I would love to get pedals but I keep getting flash backs of when my shoelace got stuck one of the screws so everytime I pressed the brake the gas pedal went with it.

MrWayne, since you mentioned Razo carbon black fiber pedals, I got mine from Exotic Motoring in Markham a couple of years ago and I'm sure they still carry them. These are the real stuff and haven't had problems with them even when they get dampened in the winter, no slippage and very easy to clean... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

There's a shop in Pacific Mall that also has 5-Zigen stuff .. they probably get it from BC Auto anyway, but BC Auto has shitty hours and I don't know if the price would be any different.
The carbon fibre ones on the bottom right are the ones that match the center console colours..

I have the upper right hand corner ones. The paint matches the trim pieces exactly (although it does not look that way in the pic) I paid $55 for my pedals so expect to pay around the same.

...and if anyone is interested, I've got the carbon fibre looking ones for sale ($50 - normally retail for $65). Brand new, still in the box.

P.S. If interested, please feel free and give me a call on my cell (416.707.3781) as I will be away from the computer for a while...
P.P.S. The reason I'm getting rid of 'em is that I found my old Momo's (off of my previous car - thought I had junked 'em).

It's kinda hard to find nice pedals that will fit the auto properly...and I'd rather now have to screw anything through the pedal...Some suggestions? I've looked through pac mall..but I'm always unsure of the size...I guess the p5s would go for the smaller ones? I can't believe the ones I bought had a pic of a p5 all over it, yet they didn't fit.... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

keewee, make sure you think about the function of the pedal pads too. i've driven my friend's civic who had pedal pads and when i drove it with wet shoes, my foot kept slipping of the brake pedal! i suggest ones with raised holes with edges as your soles tend to grip into those holes. i think moe got something along those lines.

okey dokey thanks! The ones I bought did have some raised raised that were a bit jagged for a better grip. that's why i'm upset they don't fit...i hope I can return them.....Will probably have to go searching pac mall on my own...or volunteer someone to take me around.....causei don't get around that often... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I've got Alpena pads, I'm not sure if these are brand X or not, but I like them, they are aluminum, and were pretty easy to install, no drilling required. In the wet they can get a little slippery, but I've had no problems with them at all. I paid about 45$ + tax at Canadian tire. I like them myself, and every one that has seen them has liked them. The one on my clutch pedal is starting to get a little worn, but aside from that they're fine. They did take some getting used to however, since this made my gas and brake pedal slightly closer, but Ive managed to adapt

Wal Mart will take anything back. Just make sure the box is presentable and not all ripped up. You should look around Pac Mall, there's a few places that sell pads.

I've been looking for pedals as well, I'm leaning towards a set of Sparco grip, drilling is required but if they're good enough for the WRC, Then they're good enough for me.

I have OBX pedals. They're awesome, but I was stupid, and used the clamps instead of the drill plates. I think I'm going to make custom, yet very functional ones, which I'll weld on. I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN RICE! When I get my springs/dampers, I'm going to paint them flat black, scratch them, and soak them in salt water, so they look stock.......it's all part of the image....
