Due to some adminstrative changes, toprotege.com may be down for a few days, or possibly even weeks, starting tomorrow evening or Wednesday morning. Backup plans are being put into place so you'll still be able to get onto the forums by using toprotege.net instead. It's possible that both web addresses may not work for a little while. Another announcement will be made once toprotege.com is back up and running, and both names will be kept going forward.

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced because of this, and especially for the occasional forum members who may not receive this notice in time. We will try sending out a mass email as well, but we realize many email addresses are old and may not work.

toprotege.net is not yet active, though it should be tomorrow. this thread will be updated once it works.

Thank you for your understanding.

As we all know technology can sometimes be tricky to work with. We are in the midst of completely re-vamping the Toronto Protege Club experience. There are many great things in store, but they will take some time to test and work out the bugs.

As previously mentioned, we have temporarily moved toprotege.com over to toprotege.net. The reason for this is that .com was owned by a previous Officer of the club who no-longer has the time to to keep up with renewal of the domain, etc. He has cancelled his term and the current officers have re-registered it. This process however will take up to 45 days to be complete.

Again, we appologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we assure you that it will all be worthwhile in the end. It is important that all aspects of the community are under the control of the current Officers. This will ensure that we can respond to issues in a timely manner, and avoid down-time for the future.

During this time, we are working on upgrading the board software to vBulletin, which will provide many much anticipated features that are not available in our current board software. This new software has been purchased thanks to your Membership donations, and as always, will go right back to the community.

We thank you for your patience during this temporary inconvenience, and look forward to things being back to normal soon. We will keep everyone posted along the way.
