it was really easy to do and it only cost a few bucks.
i have some extra hoses and wire looms, so if anybody else wants to add some colour, i'll bring it to darknights and they can put it on there.

That looks sweet!! Where did you get the hoses from? and how long did it take to install them? I would like to do it myself if it is not that difficult of a job.

Got the hoses from Performance Improvements.
Don't get the Ractive PIT PACK .... it has several hose sizes cut to specific lengths. even though it is a good starter pack, i didn't even use all of the hoses and i still have alot left. go to hosetechniques.com (http://www.hosetechniques.com) and look at the hoses for the protege5. there are only about 5 or 6 hoses that you have to replace, so look at them and just buy the hose off the spool, which should be cheaper. the wiring loom, heat resistant plastic stuff are slit, so they basically slip onto exisiting wires. both the hoses and wiring looms are very easy to install. I took my time to do it to make sure i was doing it right and i did everything in about an hour. i still have 1 or 2 more hoses to replace. the hoses and wire looms come in a variety of colours, so be creative! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
