I'm looking for something like the PIAA Ion, the yellow one . Is there anything similar to that, and is cheaper than that?

murda has the PIAA Super Yellow Ion bulbs... i think they cost him $57 EACH. The bulbs are bright, but they're not that bright compared to actual yellow foglights (like the ones on Lexus'. It most likely has to do with the foglight housing, reflector and lense. it's not meant to be ultra bright.... so i guess changing the entire foglight to a PIAA type foglight would help alot. I remember somebody on the protegemp3.com changed it the whole OEM foglight to a PIAA foglight setup. I'll look for that link......

I'm very satisfied with my PIAA ions. They are very bright and have a cool light pattern on the ground. To get a better effect you have to bend up the cup over the bulb in the stock light. More of the bulb will be exposed and will shoot out more light. Plus they come with a 1 year warranty.

oh yeah... i have yellow ion H3 bulbs too. but they were ghetto cheap... $15 (no tax) at pacific mall! LOL.... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
they are kinda yellow. i remember comparing them to murda's fogs and they're not even close! they're a little more yellowish than the stock ones (stock ones a bit brighter)... but what do you expect from bulbs that have packaging with japanese writing and the spelling of bulbs as "BUBLS". but they've last me a long time now, so no complaints. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I just order h7 all weather yellow bulb from philips dealer. and they have h3 as well, i gueess h7 will be as yellow as the h3. i will probably get the h3 as well, but currently i am using hella h3 bulbs from performance improve for about 20. they are somewhat yellow than the stock, but just can't wait for the bulb to come.
