Guys and Gals, my gf wants me to paint her headlight housing. Now I'm wondering if I need to remove the bumper to loose the headlight?
Thankz for all inputs in advance.

alright, to make it brief again..
-take out bumper
-take out light assembly
-seperate the lense w/ light assembly,
-take out the 2nd layer cover
-leave the reflector on the assembly
-paint the "2nd layer"
-attach lense back onto the light assembly
-seal it tight w/ silicon
-put it back onto the car
-put ur bumper back on

for the past 6 months, i have no water, fogs in my housing,
it was perfectly done, i had mine done at hi-tech auto...
the most important is to seal the light correctly!!

you on the suburu site?? my bro has a wrx and is on that site (redwagon)
Anyway i think that the cost is about 200 bucks.. and the whole day without the car. I tired heating up the lenses when i took my lights out it took to long and i was inpatient, i think for the amount of work it is 200 is very reasonable.

Welcome to the TPC - it's full of girly men like YellowMP5 and Ed who can't do their own work and make too much money and pay someone else to do their stuff! LOL
JUST kidding - well about ED anyway! LOL
