Well, tonight (Friday) we will be finishing up the sanding on the majority of the parts. We will be painting and clearing tomorrow and hopefully starting to put everything back in Monday. The only shit that wont be going back in yet is the parts that got fibrglassed as they are still rough and we havnt even started finishing them yet.
For those of you that didnt see my pics at Shoeless, I am hopefully going to get them uploaded for everyone to see this weekend. Later this week, when mostly everything is back in my car, I will get some digi's and post them.
I wont be able to come up to T.O. to show everyone yet as we have to put my CM clutch in first. My factory clutch is worn so bad I can hardly drive it (not that I have been anyways=no interior). Hopefully we will have a pretty big meet in the next couple of weeks so that I may officially debut my car!
Take care...

Tuesday, Novmeber 26/02...
We replaced the dash into my car. Boy, does it look SWEET!
Tonight, we'll rehook everything up so that it will be drivable. I gots LOTS of pics of the project from start to finish. Just got to get them scanned and then hosted.
We ran out of paint after the dash so we have to get more before I can rplace the door skins, a/b/c pillars, etc. I will have my car for this Sundays Steel Town meet. Check it out. Gen 2, wut!

as we are on the topic of custom interior, how to custom paint the interior trim stuff ?
after you have the color on the stuff u want painted ... what else must u do afterwards ? coat it with something? etc ... i'm clueless ...

Use clear coat...probably 3 coats. Do one coat and then wait for it to get tacky before the second coat. Same for third coat. This will make the paint stick and the parts to look shinny!
FYI-->You should ALWAYS prime your parts before you paint them too!

Your car's looking sick K Dawg. Even my friend Nautasha, who is SOOO not into cars says it looks sweet. It's gonna be something else when you get it done. You're car is the opposite of mine http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif when it comes to interior/exterior work.
