Watching some old west coast rap videos, I was inspired by something. At night when I'm thuggin in my P5 with the gangsta lean laid back driving style, I wanna make highly visible sparks.

Everytime I go over a slight dip in the road I want people to see some sprinklers go off beneath the car. Does anyone know of any material or metal that can do this. I have heard of magnesium strips, but I know this board is full of Rice Boys who know their stuff.

And by the way, its gotta be cheap, cause I know some of you rich bastards too! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Magnesium strips will burn very white and bright, won't look like a spark.

Wanna spark? Buy some chains. Loop them off the body so they are not quite touching the ground - they only spark when you turn hard or roll over a bump. Chains are also durable so you should be able to look fabulous for quite a while before they need replacing. The noise they make will be annoying (but then agains so are the sparks IMO) so you might wanna experiment by only having a few links of the chain mounted by string or wire lowered close to the ground.

Now that is the ghetto thought process I love. Chains. I gotta hook them around the rear crossmember bar outta sight, then when a dip in the road comes. Bling, Bling, Bling!

The durability of chains is quite good too as I can rip off chains for free basically anywhere around here. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

what about hooking up a grinder to a block of metal under the car somewhere and wiring up a switch so you can turn it on and off.

Go over a bump, flip the switch on and off momentarilly and voila sparks ahoy!

LMAO..those "metal bar things" are either:
a)the frame itself. When you C-Notch and Body-drop a truck, the actual frame hangs low enough to scrape/spark off the ground
OR..
b)the leaf springs. Trucks have control arms/spindals up front and leaf springs in the rear instead of coiled springs. The leaf springs work in the same manner as bow-and-arrow bow. The flatter/straighter they are, the lower the ass end sits (and vice-versa). There is usually five leaf-springs on a truck and the Ol skool way to "body-drop" your ass end is just to remove leafs. This results in deteriorated ride thou.
My advice, hang chains and then get that powder to put on your tires to make em smoke.
OOOO!!!! Demon, in your back window you should get "PICTURE ME ROLLIN'". That would be ghetto-worthy of a crip-walk...lol!

LMOA! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
You guys are so funny when it comes to ghetto ideas, that I stop and think that somebody else thought of this too.
Bumble G has a point. I would like an on/off switch, but that is too technical and ricey.

Sondra, get back to me and describe more of that 'metal bar thingy' or send me to a website when you got a chance.

K-Dawg, I know you feel my ghettoness and a good sticker like 2pac's song Picture Me Rollin' is so thugish to the max.

And for you King Kong Ding Dong laughing your ass off with no imput. I'll hook you up to the chains and set your ass on fire. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I'm going out to HDepot this weekend and find some sort of mounting device.

sparkin.. lol...

On my 'rent's old minivan, we had some steel runningboards installed - and if i bounced the van hard enough (fast enough) over an intersection (where it's raised in the middle to aid drainage) I could hit the boards on the ground when i bottomed it. Sparks out the whazoo...

Just thinking you could get something like that, mount them under the sides of the car, or across the back, and then whazaaaa spark-o-rama

Onlookers with curiousity, bewilderment, amazement, approval or fear; That is some of the essential drives behind G.C.P.T.(Ghetto Concept Performance Trends}.

And as I cruise by, I'll be blasting the trunk rattling Hip-Hop Track by Ludacris, synching the words to his song....,

"Whoa b***!, get out the way, get out the way, get out the way." http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
