How the hell do i mark messages read??

I scroll down to the thing at the bottom and click on it, but it doesn't seem to work.

While I'm on the subject of doin stuff, my avatar doesn't seem to work. what the hell?? I was never good at this computer crap, I copied and pasted the link to the pic of my car at the protegetech group, but it deosn't seem to work either. I can see everyone elses but mine.

Well, that yahoo server you're linking your image off seems to be down. Maybe you should use a real server to host your images. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Don't you people have webspace with your isp accounts?

I made some changes to the cookies a week or two ago so you could try logging out or the board, closing all your browser windows, deleting any cookies from toprotege.com, and then re-opening your browser and logging in again...

Rowan, I use Netscape 6.2 unfortunately, I hate IE, and Netscape 4.7 always seems to fuck up on my computer. Thanks, I'll try your suggestion with closing the windows and all that. I've got it set to relogin automatically when I come here, that might be a reason too....

Yeah, try deleting all your toprotege cookies. that very well could be the culprit! Because the &quot;mark all messages read&quot; does work for me now.

Thanks, I was off today, so I had a chance to mess around after I woke up bright and early this afternoon. I figured it out, and I got an avatar too, not the one I really wanted but oh well, maybe if people think I'm Mr.T then they won't fuck with me.
