Way to go dude!
I like the pioneer spirit of trailblazers and independent researchers.
I've been seeing so much B.S.sometimes of a person, that knows person, who knows a person, that knows a person, that knows some people that know a person that can get a hook-up from a hook-up that knows a hook-up which has a good price.
Get the picture people.

Your right Moschella!
It is just frustrating sometimes when some guys do their hookups and post it as the rock bottom when they dig with a Fisher Price sand shovel. Then they get cocky about it too!
Others dig with a drilling rig and find better deals in the sub earth core and get even a better deal on the same product.
I'm glad he found his sweet deal!
I wonder if the others I getting some sort of skim money or kickback payback.
That's the type of thinking of Michael GoldsteinRosenthalbaum and Michael Giancanna!!
What do you think Sondra?

The deal I got was a "for you only" deal. I paid pretty much cost for the package.
Why you ask. Well my cousin works at the dealer where I bought my car. He got me a deal on the wheel/tire package.
And I know what Cardemon is talking about people that say they can get stuff only to keep you waiting till the cows come home.

Acutally I got these tires at a close out sale back in July. That place is going out of business and they have like 20 sets of snows sitting there. Since no one would bother to get snow tires in July the owner just sold a set to me for $300. And until two weeks ago I got the rims to mount them. So it's $300 for tires, $180 for steelies and $32 for installation = $512 out the door.

The irrelevant stories of the ONE TIME deal that can never be duplicated for people that need the $#!* now. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif
"..But I know of a buddy, who has a cousin, that has a mom, who knows a friend, that has a buddy, that owned a shop who knew of a deal that his buddy could get on the bankruptcy sale in 1997, but his other buddy's cousin had a hook-up with the other managers cousin who was selling all Michelin Alpins for $50.00 in all sizes." http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

The moral of the story is: plan ahead and get your stuff off season. If a particular shop has some left over stocks from last year you'll at least have more room to bargain. So if you wanna get summer tires for next year now is the time to buy!

Your right too!
Sorry for isolating your post. I am also doing some lyrical kungfu with some cocky f-ers in PM's about their so called deals in my best interest when I fully explained my needs and wants.
I just had to put in some fictional extreme examples of others before in threads that have milked our human desires to the max. lol http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

By now!, the people that post to the board regularly and those who I have met at events, I have determined who is quite reliable, truthful, and trustworthy with my best interests at heart when it comes to soliciting info.
Certian questions and inquiries into certain subjects with regards to 'hook-ups' and 'pricing', I throw it out and monitor who is who. The same also goes with information on topics and products I don't know, and need info on.
I also have determined who are the Triad member, Oil Shiek,Arms Dealing, Narcotic Traffiking, Money Laundering, Track Betting, Number Running, Chain Laundry Mat Owning, Profiteering Immigration Document Fixing, Sweat Shop Owning, Donald Trump, Pablo Escobar, Kennedy grandchildren are; as they live off the spoils of money in abundance in some tax free illegal way. The always steer you toward the higher priced and higher end items not practical and not within your budget and not for your usage.
For the ordinary struggling middle working class brotha I trust only a few people with genuine concerns of me getting the most bang for my buck with a few trade offs.
My tire is far from the best, and I just jokingly started this post to humor myself and few others. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Perhaps the list in my rant touched some nerves as some people here belong to 90% of the groups mentioned. I was just being synical at some colourful attitudes of some individuals towards certain subjects. That's why I suggest Ultimate Fighting Championships for members who have on-line beef with each other.
