that is the "blow off valve" releaseing the Pressure that occurs when you "SLAM" the throttle body closed. The pressure has to be released when you suddenly come off the throttle.

ok...we were looking at acceleration...ya....that was sick....i had a dozen people lookin over my shoulder in class....but he was only doin 180kph...the boost meter was goin NUTZ http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

i could be wrong....but I believe the outside of that gauge is in MPH?

Ya the speedo is in MPH, you can see it better in this other video of that same bike. He tops out @ 220MPH! Notice he also pulls a wheelie to 135mph.
