Here is the new high temp black for headers, I am testing this new powder on my own headers to see how it stands up to the heat, it says good for 1000+ degrees but I will believe that when I see it, I have tlaked to guys who have used this and they say it works great.

Here is smoked chrome versus almost chrome ( no clearcoat on these parts at the time of pics) Clear makes it a little more glossey)

My P5 rim without the clearcoat yet

More Royal Blue pics.

Candy Red with red metallic additive for that sparkly look.

Here the intake was done in Cnandy Red with Smoked Chrome, only problem was the clear ocat I used to have turned the smoked chrome to more of a grey, thus why it looks like grey in the pics, the new smoked chrome doesn't change the color at all, the old stuff use to yellow, the new stuff is more glossy and looks mint, as my Mazda Valve cover will show when I get pics of it.

Candy Blue with no additives ( I have a metallic blue additive I have not tried yet) beside Almost chrome and stock FORD grey powdercoating on the top piece.

Here is a normal red I have, looks kind of orangish red in the pic due to flash, not quite as orangey in normal light but still not a great red.

I'd like to get a few things done in smoked chrome. Like we discussed in PMs, I'll let you know when I have time to park the car for a few days. Thanks. http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

I am still working on a price for rims, Smoked Chrome needs the clear top coat so its basically coating the rims twice, plus I do the entire rim, not just the outside.

You don't want to sandblast alloys, you want to bead blast them, not as harsh on the metal. Once I get a price I'll get back to everyone, I need to find a shop that can bead blast stuff for me first.

I agree, the chrome powder would not even come close to that polished lip.

is that right? aight.....well i dunno yet....all chrome was one consideration...but another would be to powdercoat the rim part smoked chrome or flat black....
