I'm currently starting to put polished aluminum in the spaces on the underside of my hood( between the braces) any suggestions on how to install? I was thinking of a high heat silicone or something like that if they even exist. remember that it has to be not effected by extreme heat, bumps and water.

there is high heat adheasive.... it will take water too.. but here shouldent be water under the hood anyways lol....
make shure the alunimum is anodized ! or it will quickly ruin

also the alunimum will expand and contract at different dates then your steel hood will

Thanks for the input, I was refering to when I wash under my hood about the water LoL.
Crappy Tire would sell that type of adhesive, wouldn't it ? The aluminum is for roof flashing and stuff ( don't tell my boss) LoL.. so it should weather alright.

That stuff is definitely heat resistent.... it's used on duct work for furnaces, etc. It's aluminum tape. If applied properly (on clean surface, etc. etc.) it'll stick like a mofo, too.
