Depends. Best quality I think right now would be Injin but the price is high. I think I've seen people saying $450 +tax. That's a bit high for a piece of pipe.
Depends on what you want to spend. There have been lots of complaints against Ractive not fitting properly.
For me, if money comes my way, I'm thinking of going the custom route. I would use the stock top portion up to the MAF (or is it MAP??) sensor. Then get someone to bend me up a piece of aluminum or something to go into the fender. And then stick on a reusable cone filter. Unless some company can make a decent and affordable CAI. Hello K&N, AEM, Injin, Iceman(do they still exist), and everyone else. We don't want to spend $500 on 2hp.

Okay....you guys may kill me, but I bought the ractive CAI. I got for an unspeakable low price. Took me an hour or so to install.
I cut the first pipe about an 1". I used a dremel tool with a cutting bit, really clean.
I made a temporary bracket to hold the thing in place.
I know that someone on the board has made a bracket. Could they drop me a message and let me know how they did it? Maybe some pics?
Overall, I'm not overlly impressed with the package. It really isn't designed for the P5, but for the Protege Sedan (someone jump in if I'm incorrect). With a little tweaking, it serves it's purpose.
From what I've seen the CAI goes for aroun $100, can't go wrong for that price. I'm gonna send some feedback to Ractive and let them knwo some of the challanges we as a club faced with them.
I'll probably end up switching to another CAI later on....but I was bored today and wanted to work on the car.

I paid $400 for my Injen at JRP, might have got it for less but he cut me a sweet deal on some other goodies at the time!

OK
I have the Ractive intake.
Steve from Avante - Re-installed it with his "NEW" way.
It is awesome. Moves with the engine, no rubbing, better look, etc.....
Let me know if you want a look at it.
Sorry I did not make the meet on Sunday, could have got some pics taken then.
