...I know this is out there already...but can't find the post, I think Tiwing Started it?
If you use LEDs in the turn signals you need to put the relays on them, so what the hell are they called, and where do you get them from?

They're called load equalizers. They're designed to "trick" the flasher unit into thinking you're still using the old style bulbs by increasing the load on the line, making the LEDs flash at the correct speed.
Edit: also called variable load flasher units

Thanks Kev...
Ok I found these guys...
Load Equalizers (http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm)
Also, the same company has come up with something very cool. They have LEDs with bulbs mounted on the sides as well as the front. This acts like a conventional bulbs taking advantage of the reflective housing in the taillights.
Wedge Matrix LED Bulbs (http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm)
I think Im gonna pick up a pair of brake lights and see how they workout. While Im at it, Im gonn aprice out a set of red LED for the rear turn signals and whites for the front.

These guys also have a bunch of NON LED clear and silver bulbs that flash red or amber, good idea for the rear turn signals...get rid of the orange bulbs.

from what I"ve read on the subject, clear LEDs will always be the brightest - that it's best to have a coloured cover and a clear LED rather than a clear cover and a coloured LED. However, it doesn't look near as cool to have all the coloured covers everywhere....

Holy crap that's expensive for the "equalizers". You can pick up a simple resistor for only a few pennys.
