We have a good list of attendies, I would like to take a moment to encourage everyone to participate and bring something to share, and you may partake in what ever everyone else is bringing.

We will have BBQs on site so members can use it to cook up some main dishes like burgers, dogs, steaks or whatever. Please consider going to your local grocery store and picking up something to share.

Charcol and table setting will be taken care of by your friendly neighbourhood TOProtege Club! http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

We have 46 people on the attending list and less than 15 commited to bringing something.

Perhaps...
-a tub of potato, macoroni salad or coleslaw
-a bag of rolls and some butter
-don't worry about duplicating something that someone is already bringing, the more the better.
-more water and pop would be a good idea. Maybe even some juice

Please reply with what you wish to share

My wife suggested to make a huge cesar salad, since people might not be cool with cold mashed 'taters. http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Perhaps a couple people could wip up some garden salads?

And since no one else asked... is it ok if I sneak a few cold ones in? http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

As far as a 'few cold ones' I say out of sight out of mind. We all know we are not supposed to.

"cold ones" are hard to disguise. There are tons of alternatives:

- bring water (aka vodka)....
- bring a big bottle of coke (with some rum pre-added)....
- Gatorade anyone? (aka Vodka & Cranberry)....
- Orange Juice (and pre-added vodka) is a healty alternative to pops....
- or, Sparkling Water (aka Bacardi Silver or Smirnoff Twists)....

(this from many years of drinking on the beach during high school & after... )

Most of the people here (the smart one's) read it as me bringing a few 24 packs of water and pop.
One of the not-so-smart members here (cough Tiwing), read it as 24 cases of pop.
I would like to remind people that I do not drive a station wagon, I drive a sedan, and unfortuantely, don't have the capacity to carry 24 cases of anything.
Sorry Kev, i'll leave the remaining 20 cases for you to bring, and be sure to bring me a steak too. http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
