maybe its one of those aftermarket bulbs that draw too much wattage...
did you check if inside the socket is burnt a lil bit or something

I used to have the same problem with the stock bulbs. Slamming the hood in anger usually fixed the problem http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif Since I switched to silverstars it stopped tho.

1)Make sure bulb is all the way in black adapter.
2)Move adaptor prongs slightly apart-they will sit tighter in plug.
3)Make sure there's no corrosion and if yes clean it with sand paper.

hey,

that used to happen to me when I used Eurolites. I'd have to open the hood and wiggle the bulb a bit for it to work. That usually mean the bulb is almost dead. the filament inside the bulb is making a bad connection and is about to fall apart. Change the bulb and you'll have no problem. That's what I did.

I think the black adapter connectin' to the white
plug is either have some corrosion or melted,
cuz i cannot pull them apart....
from visual, dosn't look like any melting, but
the adapter can be pull 1/16" outward but cannot
pull any further......don't know y...but gonna
bring it to DWM to have a check on tuesday..

Whats the point of that adapter anyways? I didn't know anything about it and had sooo much trouble with my Silverstars cuz I thought they sold me the wrong bulbs.

Before I had my HID's installed, I was using higher wattage bulbs. It caused one of the harneses and plastic adapter portion of the bulb to melt. That's what the cause of my flickering was.

I had the dealership fix it once, it happened again a couple of weeks later so I just took it apart put it back together again and so far it's been good for a couple of months (fingers crossed)
