I picked up my rims from Oakville Mazda yesterday afternoon. I guess all the shipments are hitting the dealers now.

There are a couple sets of 15" winter tire packages at Scarborough Mazda for sale....also a few used sets with approx 3k on them.
Call Al Balinsky for exact prices 416-752-0970
FYI: Should be putting 14" winter tires on our cars.

I spoke with Steve and I think his prices are outrageous.

Dealership prices are always steep! Why even post them? Why don't you guys use the contact Jason hooked us up with at Wheels Direct? Joey gave this club some great prices on high quality winter sets.... Hooked up Jason, Chops, Kong, and myself.
BTW Amy why did you say:

for winter tires...the narrower/smaller diameter the better. That's what i've been told by a few tire places. but whatever you think is cool too....i'm just repeating what i've been told...that's all. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Yes it is true that narrow tires handle better in deep snow and slush...
However, Toronto's winter is not anything like the North Pole (though it doesn't snow very much up there - but there's snow on the ground - anyway that's not my point - or maybe it is?). Often Toronto's roads and especially highways are snow free, wet, or even dry. Having narrow tires is cool in the deep snow but they suck on the dry stuff. I chose a 205 dimension winter tire cause I do a lot of driving on the highway up to Blue Mountain and narrow tires would just feel too loose and sketchy at speed - also why I bought an H-rated winter tire. I also hate driving high sidewalls cause cornering feel is completely lost - feel and control is a key point to driving safely in the winter. If my car is numb in my hands due to high sidewalls and narrow tires I'm better off going with a slightly wider and lower profile tire.
Peeps can choose what they want but going with skinny tires and tiny 14'' rims will take the Zoom Zoom feel right out of your Protege5 in the winter time - and trust me even though you might say who drives Zoom Zoom in the winter - you will miss it.
