Anyone interested in new seats? I'll be "trying" to scope out some prices for seats in the next few weeks.. I'll be looking at Tenzo, R1 Racing, Sparco, and Recaro. I just want to see the interest and perhaps form a group buy if there are enough people.

do a search on tenzo.....it dates back to the beginning of the summer. I posted a special price on the seats....but no one really anwsered so.....take a look.

i will have to call them and see if the prices have changed, but this gives you an idea of what I can get. I can get you anything from the Tenzo Line up (seats).

Spool and Arospeed seats are made by Recaro North America in USA. They are just not branded Recaro.

I don't think you will find much break on the price of Recaros because Performance Improvements has a monopoly over the whole province of Ontario.

Sparco, Recaro, MOMO, and OMP seats are in kind of a different class than Tenzo and R-1 imho... but they should also be priced accordingly.

I'll put my hand up for a Recaro SRD... which is actually the same as from Spool. So maybe when Spool gets their next shipment together they could have a bunch shipped direct to us from the factory instead of going to Florida and back.

FYI, someone on the SGR board is selling black sparco rev + side mounts. Which were used for 2 months.

For all you interested in seats, I'm think of getting the R-1. I was quoted $300.00 just for the seat alone without the universal bracket.

If I can can get some more interest in these seats I can get a little better price.

I thought the R1s come with universal brackets and sliders?

Thats what I thought. But they told me I need to get them separate. I'll try and ask again. Only talked to them for a minute or two just to get a general idea.

I'm not getting R1 seats, but I checked them out before and the brackets are right underneath the seats. $300 is a good price compared to what I was quoted before, which was about $750 for a pair.
