Hi,
My alarm on my MSP is giving me some trouble. Yesterday when I armed it after getting home, the park lights didn't flash, they stayed on and the light on my dash stayed on also. if I disarm it the lights will not go off, when I open the door the beeping noise comes on but the light switch is off! and the only way to turn it off is to start the car and then shut it off. Also, the red status light is never completely off. Its glowing but very dim, even when I am driving and when the car is off. Anyone have this problem or know how I can fix it.
thanks

where abouts are you in Scarlem? I'll come by and uhhhh,...check it out tonight at about 4am when it's nice and dark out http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Seriously though,....take it to the dealership. Even if it's something straight forward, no point in messing around with it yourself when it should be warranty work.
Or if it's an aftermarket alarm,...take it to whoever installed it. I doubt you've had it for too long,..so this sort of stuff should be covered.

Brain is fried....
Happened to me a couple months ago. It's under warranty.
Get it replaced ASAP. It may get to the point where your horn will never turn off.

I was just outside and it I arm it so it honks twice, the lights will go off and it works normally, but when I disarm it, the lights come back on.. I have to push the disarm 3 times then teh lights come off.

There was a whole batch of bad alarms purchased by Mazda Canada. Dealers who installed them in late 2002 and early to mid 2003 had many a warranty on those bad boys.
