HOW-TO: Reprogram stock remote

I just changed the battary of the remote, I need to program. Anyone know how?

open the door... insert key to ignition and cycle it from ON to OFF position 3 times... press door/dome light switch in door jam 3 times... press any button on the remote twice

I forget exactly the sequence but yeah its something crazy like that, I did it when I lost my remote and had to buy a new one. If you have two remotes you have to press the buttons on BOTH remotes at the same time, otherwise the one remote will have a different frequency then the other, and thus only one will work.

I tried to use those steps to program my remote as well. I've had no luck for the past few tries. I've even tried the Millenia and 6 instructions where you click the locks on and off. Are the instructions to program the factory remote any different for a 2000 Pro?
