Basically you need to attach the Trimlights to something that turns on with the headlights, but not the brake lights as the Trimights will go off under braking. The best solution is to the license plate lights.
The decals come witht he decal plate that sticks to the inside of a window, a length of wire and a control box. This box has two wires, one for power, one for ground.
Tools:
socket set
flat screwdriver
electric tape or wire connectors
wire cutters
You need to remove the large bolt for the centre rear seat belt. Then pull the grey trim plastic that surrounds the window, not all the way, just enough to fish the wire.
You will run the wire from the rear of the quarter window behind the trim, like this.
dont stick it to the window yet, do that last

Once you pulled the trim back, using a flat screwdriver carefully pull out the three round clips that hold the roof liner to the roof.
Then on the drivers side in the hatch there is that 'shelf' next to the window. Pull this up and off, this the where I put the little square control boxes.

Here is where the power for the lights are located under the headliner. The ones for the plate lights are lime green with a black stripe. Make sure it has a black stipe, because the rear lock is also lime green.
You will stip a small section out and attach a length of two wires, one power wire for each box.

The hook up for the drivers side is basically from the window to the black box and from the black box one wire to power, the other to ground.
Pasenger side, from the window behind the trim in the headliner to the black box and again one wire to power, the other to ground.
I will take some night pictures tonight.
Another GB will come soon.

I'm going to run mine to an independant switch at the front by the dimmer dial and fog button.
If anyone else that bought these is good with wiring and wants to hook up to do these, I've got an extra switch (APC flip top covered swtich) that you can have for yours. But you need to know what you're doing (I'm sure it's quite straightforward).
You bring the extra wire, and your knowledge, and I'll give you the swtich.
PM me if you're interested. I want to do this before Darknights.

Awesome How-To Myk -- bringing the knowledge to the TOP peeps.
I'll get some good pics of my install in the rear window with a switch.
