I put the reactive cold air kit in my car today, absolutely no problems, the only thing that took any time at all was finding a spot to bolt the MAS bracket to, it sounds good, performance wise i cant really tell, but i dont see why reactive gets bashed, i got this and a cannonball style exaust from them and both were installed and work flawlessly... Wierd...

You got the wrong kit...only explanation I can think of if you know how to install!
However, you said..."i cant get my intake on for my friend"... if this means it is the intake "off of your ride" then not too sure what you are doing wrong?
I watched Navy and Chop do mine first, and I have had it totally apart a few times now and it is pretty simple, so if it is a new intake, I would make sure you either 1) have the right kit or 2) the proper reducers came in the kit.
Good Luck!
