I recently hearing this WeeWee....sound
when i have my cd/radio playing
while having the dash lites on.
the sound will still continue while
i have dash lite/main head lites on.
does anyone know what's going on?
i recently joint the 2 wired from
the vacuum gauge and the volt meter.
cuz the vacuum gauge didn't lite up,
but once i split the wire w/ the volt, it
worked again, but dimmer. but i have
got this done like 2 weeks ago, and
this sound began 2 days ago. is it becuz of the
joinit wires?
or is it my stock battery in bad condition - dying?

here is what i got in the car that takes electricty:
interior neons, digital clock w/ indiglo-all into the outlet plug
2 indiglo gauges
sony cd deck
200W amp.

Plz let me know what's the problem if you know.
THX!

so that sound is only when your dash lights are turned on?

there seems to be some kind of electrical interference or improper ground. my cousin had that in his car, but later found out that it was the alternator giving off frequencies cuz the sound will come and go with his driving.

Ground your deck directly to the chasis of the car by itself, that should solve your problem.

so u guys think it's the groundin'?
what can i do?
properly re-install the ground again...
is it hard?

Instead of grounding your HU to the harness, ground it to the chasis. Just take the black wire directly from the HU and ground that to the frame of your car.

ok, i j/ found that
when my volt meter reads 13.5V or lower
it will not "wee wee....."
then when it's higher it will start "weewee...."

but then i remember b4, my volt meter alwayz
reads at the lower 13V, but now i see it is
alwayz at the 14V range....so u guys think
somethin' is still wrong w/ my Ground from my HU??

Did you try what I suggested? When I use to do installs this would usually fix the problem. Most installers usually just connect the ground to the harness, but I find that alot of things use the same ground and interference happens. If you give the HU a seperate ground directly to the chasis it 'usually' gets rid of engine noise. Another option would be to use a ground-loop on your RCAs, but I wouldn't recommend going that route unless totally nessecary.
