Want to get my manual transmission fluid..

Ya, so I'd like to get my manual transmission fluid changed. I don't know much about it, and I've never had it done. Should I get any kind of aftermarket product(like duralube for 5speed)? Or is it just a simple in and out thing at a shop?

You're not the only one. As soon as someone buys my car, I'm going to do just this. I suggest Redline MTL. Its roughly $16 a bottle and its the shit.

As for the change, do it yourself!!! Geez! Or you can wait for me and we'll do it at the same time.</a>

Its easy just need a long flexable funnel. you drain the oil fom the bottom of the trany and fill it up in the middle. I have a P5 and the bolt size is a 24mm socket or wrench

I am changing the fluid on my P5 tranny as soon as I get my Redline MT90. I bought a cheap 3 dollar Shiphon pump from Canadian to fill the tranny instead of a funnel. You just have to cut the tip off to fit in the hole.

If anyone wants to borrow my pump PM me, or we can change it together. I am in the North York area (Sheppard &amp; 404).
