so the guys who painted my bumper, fucked up and ripped one of the wires to the socket of my left side marker. well lockdown told me to look at the junkyards for the socket. should be cheap.
i dont know any junkyards around here, so im asking if theres anyone in the club here that is not using their side markers. if there not can i get a socket off of you? thanks!

I have the orange ones that I took off my car. They are sitting in my garage doing nothing.

Now, I don't know you, so maybe I shouldn't say this, but are you allowed to work with wiring ?

Since you can't find it at the scrapyard, go to the dealer and tell them what part is broken and what you need to replace it.

They will give you a part number and price.
Bring that to the shop and tell them here is what it will cost to fix my car that you broke.

uhh... you have to replace the whole harness to get the socket... which is bullshit

who cares about the damn sidemarker? they look goofy anyway... shave them off or leave them unlit!

Your always good for some positive input http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

But, yeah, your right, why not shave them off. You got the bumper painted right. See if you can get them filled and the bumper painted again since they broke your light.

I hate those things, they don't even blink.

Why don't you try A-Spec in Etobicoke?
Isn't that the type of Cooter Mechanical Tuner Shop/JunkYard?

You'll get it for a 1/4 of the price too?
Someone get him the directions. Ask Mike Moss, Bluezoom Ian etc.

I think A-Spec is prett pricey but hey if they have teh piece and its chepaer than you can find it elsewhere, go for it. I wouldnt go to the dealer for it, why cant you get the shop to cover it, they can order parts from the dealer just like anyone else. It really shouldnt even be that expensive

As for being pricey, they will sure beat the dealer price.
As Ian about the Purge Control Valve thingy?

And by the way, of course our things will be a bit more pricey, these are not MOtoMaster, AC-Delco, MOPAR, Mr GoodWrench cars. http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I got a used Purge Control Valve from them for half the price the dealership wanted. I didn't get a receipt, and there was no warranty, but the price was right.
