Anyone know the compression of the stock pistons on our P5's?
I'm thinking of getting the upgrade pistons if its a big difference

Isn't it 9:1. I think I saw that in the owners manual.

9.1 is the stock size. If you plan on going turbo or any other forced induction form of power then dont waste your money just get a set of forged pistons but that will be expensive.

Yes the stock is 9.1 and the aftermarkets are 10.7 to 1
It will make a difference. Put it this way, its like putting 1.6 psi of boost in your car.

Thanx guys
I did some thinking over the weekend when I was in the states and I've decided to go turbo. My cousin works for VW and deals with a guy their that will install a T3/T4 turbo, intercooler, timer, wastegate, blow off valve and pistons, springs and retainers for $2800 U.S.
He had 2 P5's already done and they were insane.
One of them dino'd at 280 hp at the wheels with 295lbs of torque at 12psi.
He also showed me his slips from the new england raceway, it pulled a 11.95 on street slicks!
He's done some other mods but wouldn't tell me.(understandable)
That P5 had 1800 miles on it since the turbo was installed and the engine is holding up fine.
Hopefully I will have the same installed in July when I go down!

There is not a sweeter deal out there, jump all over that damn turbo. If you can hook anyonelse up don't be shy.

I've been talking with my cuz and I asked him if I could maybe get a deal if I bring a couple of customers in July with me if his buddy could hook us all up!
He's going to let me know, so when I know I'll let you know CRUISIN!
I also found out that dude had juice and a possible FSZE engine swap. My cuz isn't 100% on the engine swap.
