2004 Season Announcement

First off...I want to apologize for the delay in this announcement. It was tough and not easy....

I would like to thank all those that nominated themselves for the positions and for that I commend you. For those not chosen, I implore you to continue to offer your support to the club in any fashion that you can afford. We are visiting the idea of expanding the council with more official roles, but have not yet seen the need to at THIS point and time, but you will be the first to be called upon.

We have added a new role of Sponsorship. This role will incorporate managing our current relationships with the various vendors/dealers/sponsors. This officer will also be responsible of signing on more partners, while working closely with the other officers on how these benefits get distributed to the membership.

This is how the council will look till next May 2005 when we will revisit the roles and positions:

Each of the officers you see will be needing help this season and I have directed them to create teams as needed. I and they will be looking for your support.

We are still looking for a Creative Content (Website Designer) for this season. We strongly believe that we can do so much more with our website. I personally feel that this is one of our most UNDER utilized aspects of our club, but really need someone that is motivated and enthusiastic to drive the homepage to the next level.

I will be inviting each of the officers to post their objectives for this season to the club. Their objectives will align with those of the club, but will also incorporate what each individual really wants to achieve this year. It will also give you all an idea of the activities planned and the initiatives in place this season.

I will follow up with more announcements over the course of this week, but I wanted to provide you with this update as it is long over due.

Wow! Thanks for electing me as Sponsorship Officer. I do believe this is an important role, and I will most likely request assistance from others in the club in helping out if I need it (in directing to possible contacts, leads, etc..)

Thanks Mike. I'm still Westside though. This is only for a couple of months (hopefully) until I get some more saved up for a house, which will be in the Westside!
