Just got back from annual AJAC testing at shannonville and I thought everyone here would be interested to know just how awesome the MAZDASPEED is.
The one we drove in August was a prototype and we had to be gentle but that wasn't the case with these cars.
The Mazdaspeed was on just about everyone's list of awesome cars this year and the field included every new car including NSX, Z4, 350Z, MErcedes C32, SLK32 just ot name a few.
The Mazdaspeed is a TRACK DEMON!. Amazine turn in grip (wet or dry) and a playfull rear end that aided in more than one slide. Super strong brakes (don't care what Car and Driver thought) and plenty of power with minimal (IMHO) lag. Absolute blast to drive fast - as good as Focus SVT, RSX Type-S and way better than GTI and SIR in terms of handling.
I wish I needed a car cuz i would run out and buy one - but in Grey when its available this spring.
