my brake light blew. does anyone know if it is under warranty to get it replaced?

probably not, I don't believe bulbs are covered.

Yes, I'm sure your dealership would gladly replace the $0.87 bulb.

If you bring you car to the dealerships for oil changes etc, they normally change the bulb for free. At least Scarboro Mazda does for me.

While I was away, my father brought my car into my dealer for some servicing and they changed a blown side marker bulb... under warranty. Yes, the bulbs are under warranty.

cots more in gas to go to the dealer than the actual bulb costs
