If you decide to attach the support strap to the MAS using one of the removed bolts MAKE SURE that you use a spacer on the bolt to prevent the bolt from "bottoming" in the MAS and cracking/ breaking the plastic housing. If you just screw the bolt in you will find it bottoms out before the bolt head makes contact. This means that the bolt will likely crack the housing before it tightens on the support strap. I understand that this is not a cheap part to replace. put in a spacer or a stack of washers and save yourself a big chunk of cash.
