I was transporting some rims the other day, so I took out my dual bandpass subs. I really noticed the difference in muffler sound, weight difference in handling and defrosting and warming capabilities overall in the car.
It got me thinking though in a ghetto way, What CHEAP insulation materials would I use to just to tack it to the hatch lid cover underneath.
Cooter said to use pink fluffy insulation as long as it was the Pink Panther brand. Leroy said bubble wrap. Earl said a sheet of flat rubber, Jimmy said the cardboard with the sandwiched corrugated part in the middle. Fitzroy said I should use an old baby blanket. Rosenthalbaum said spraypainted upholstry foam in my desired thickness. 7th disciple monk said that I should fill the whole entire trunk with a big block of foam and just cut out compartments in which I use. NOte that I don't haul anything in my trunk, cause it's not considered a functional wagon and I bought if for style.
....And then Giancanna said wait! Let's see what your fellow TPC Bastards would recommend. The empahsis was cheap. The idea would be to trace the back lid with provisions for proper fitment. Remember Cheap is the functioning word. http://ib2.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
